A GUIDE TO YOUR ENHANCED DBS CHECK
What documents do I need to provide for my Enhanced DBS check?
As a PA you are required to have an Enhanced DBS check. You will be asked to bring in 3 forms of identification which must be either a current passport, driving licence, birth certificate and trusted Government or State issued documents e.g marriage certificates, mortgage statements, bank statements, council tax or utility bills. However, if you are unsure, please contact us and ask, we are always happy to advise you.
Please note if you have ever changed your name, by marriage or deed, you will be required to provide your change of name documents.
How long will my Enhanced DBS check take?
Enhanced DBS checks can usually take two weeks to come back, however, on occasion they can take longer.
What if I can't get to the Partner2Care Office?
If you can't get to our office here in Portishead, please contact us and we can discuss the best way to copy your documents.
Can I make my Enhanced DBS portable?
Yes, if you wish to make your Enhanced DBS certificate portable (which means you are able to use your certificate for more than one employer), once you receive your certificate, you can join the Update Service here (within 14 days of your certificate being issued).
Please note there is an annual cost associated with this service.

Changes to your workplace pension contributions from April 2019
IMPORTANT UPDATE
Please be aware of an important change to your workplace pension scheme. The change will affect any employee currently in the scheme, or those who may opt in or be auto-enrolled in the future.
From 6 April 2018, the minimum contribution for staff automatically enrolled into a workplace pension scheme increased from 2% to 5%. This is made up of a 3% contribution from the employee and a 2% contribution from the employer.
Minimum pension contributions will increase again from 6 April 2019 to 5% for employees and 3% for employers. Employees will be able to see this reflected in their April 2019 payslips.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch or visit the NEST website for advice:
